A month ago, I went with my friend to visit a doctor in another part of Bangalore, on a Saturday. The doctor prescribed three medicines for my friend. However, two medicines were not available with the pharmacy store located next to the clinic. As it was raining, we thought we would return back and purchase the medicines from the pharmacy stores available near to where we stay.

We checked with two stores of a pharmaceutical chain and another small pharmacy store near our residence. The staff at the two stores of the pharmaceutical chain did not even make an effort to make a note of the non-available medicines. A staff remarked that they stock only medicines for the clinic.
