Peanut Butter Apple Salad

Fresh Food, Fast!

For anyone who grew up eating ants on a log, or anyone who loves to dip their apples in peanut butter, this is the perfect salad for you. I came up with this recipe this summer and cannot stop eating it.

The recipe calls for:

½ green apple

1 banana

1 or 2 celery sticks

1 handful of raisins

1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon of granola

2 tablespoons of peanut butter

Yields: 1 or 2 servings

Time: 10 minutes or less

Start by slicing your apple. If you have an apple core remover, definitely use that. I don’t have one here at school, so I just cut my apple in half before cutting it into slices. I then go back and cut out the core from each slice. Dice your slices so that they are smaller, cubed shapes. Throw your diced apples in a bowl.
