My partner and his colleagues from Standard Chartered Bank Singapore will cycle a whopping distance of 500km tomorrow over the course of 3 days in the tropical heat, in the name of fun and charity. Their supported charity? Seeing Is Believing where it aims to treat avoidable loss of sight.
It’s reported on the website of Seeing Is Believing that “an estimated 39 million people already blind across the world and a further 246 million people with low vision . The vast majority of these people could be helped if given affordable access to eye-care.
